A Cross-Country Running race
       In order to build up students body, a 5000-metre race was held by the school students'union last Sunday from the school gate to the foot of the South Hill.
       It was a sunny day. 200 participants participated in the running race with high spirits, most of whom were students and teachers. All of them tried their best to finish the running race. Though exhausted with sweat, all cheered with great joy. 
      All of the participants thought highly of the running race, adding that not only did it enrich our school life, it also brought joy to us all.

A Significant Voluntary Activity
Last weekend, our class attended a voluntary activity in a community senior center nearby.
Some of us entertained the elderly by singing Nanyin and doing magic tricks. Others chatted with them. They were overjoyed for our coming and the senior center was full of laughter. Besides, we also taught them how to use smartphones in everyday life, such as showing the health QR code, calling a taxi and making an appointment with the doctor. They were impressed by the convenience technology brings.
The activity is so meaningful that we all feel rewarded and determined to visit them regularly.

Students’ Visit to Xinke Ecological Garden

Organized by the Students’ Union, some students paid a visit to Xinke Ecological Garden last Saturday.
Students were deeply impressed the moment they walked into the garden featuring fragrant flowers and juicy fruits. After admiring the breathtaking beauty of various plants, they went into the fields to pick fruits and vegetables, which was the highlight of the day. After the visit, they got a better understanding of modern agriculture.
Unquestionably, not only can they broaden their horizons as well as acquire a good knowledge of green life, but enrich the school life through this visit. They all consider it meaningful and beneficial to participate in such social activities.
