Considering that the online learning mode will make the subject of Mathematics more difficult for our Primary School pupils, the teachers have prepared lots of fun games and video-recorded their lessons to help the former. Many pupils not only complete their learning tasks on time, but also play the games taught in class with their parents. Some pupils have designed their own math games by applying what they have just learnt and played them with their classmates. Some have become online hosts of our online teaching, developing their thinking abilities and expression skills.
 
抗疫期间，考虑到远程学习模式将进一步增加低年级学生在数学学科上的学习难度，康德双语小学部的数学老师特别为孩子们准备了许多有趣的数学小游戏帮助他们学习，并制成了录屏课供孩子们自主学习探究。同学们不仅自觉完成了学习任务，还在家里和爸爸妈妈玩起了课上教的亲子小游戏！有些小朋友还积极动脑，通过新学到的知识设计新的数学小游戏，并与同学互动挑战；还有的小朋友成为了小主播，并借此锻炼了自己的思维能力和表达能力。

‘Colourful Equation Fox’  Traditional calculation questions are a little bit boring for Grade 1 pupils, so the teachers prepared a very interesting calculation and colouring game called ‘Colourful Equation Fox’. This game requires the pupils to calculate first and then colour the ‘fox’ according to their calculation results.
 
美丽的算式小狐狸。单一的计算题对一年级的学生来说未免有些枯燥，老师因此给他们准备了非常有趣的计算涂色游戏——美丽的算式小狐狸。学生先进行计算，接着根据计算的结果找出对应要涂的颜色，将小狐狸美美地打扮一番！

Kendoku  Kendoku, also called ‘square wisdom’, is a math game combining Sudoku and four main mathematical operations, requiring the pupils to fill in the whole grid with numbers. The pupils need to make sure that no number is repeated in any row or column and that the numbers they put in a cage combine to produce the target number using the mathematical operation noted. The pupils have learnt how to play the game after watching the video and challenged themselves by a 3X3 grid, a 4X4 grid and a 5X5 grid.
 
“算独”游戏。算独又称为“聪明格”，是一种融合了数独和四则运算的数学游戏。该游戏要求学生在每行每列填入不同的数字，并满足粗线框中的要求。学生通过观看视频掌握了算独，并逐步挑战了3×3、4×4、5×5的算独。

Matchstick Game In order to make an equation work, the pupils need to move a matchstick in the game. They have lots of fun during this game, training their brains and hands.

 
火柴棒游戏。游戏要求学生移动一根小棒后，使等式成立。小朋友们动手又动脑，玩得不亦乐乎。

The pupils in Grade 2 and 3 have reviewed the conversion of length units and its practical application by creating nursery rhymes, drawing simple pictures and making tabloids.
 
二、三年级的学生通过自己编儿歌、画简图、做小报等方式复习了各种长度单位的进率及实际运用。
 
In addition, some pupils have been reading extra-curricular math books and can solve the math questions in the games. They are actively preparing to share their new knowledge with their classmates during online learning.
 
有些同学通过阅读课外数学书籍，积累了不少知识，还能破解老师的数学游戏，正积极准备在直播课中和大家分享！

Fun games have ignited the pupils’passion for Mathematics and enabled them to feel the infinite charm of the subject.
