Introduction
上海交通大学材料科学与工程学科始于1952年，是国内最早建立材料学科的高校之一，并于1997年正式成立学院。材料学科连续十多年入围ESI 1‰学科，2021年QS排名升至全球第20位，正迈向世界一流学科。学院以国家重大需求和国际学术前沿为导向，着力打造高水平人才队伍，现启动2021年上半年青年人才招聘。
The starting of the School of Materials Science and Engineering (SMSE) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) can be traced back to 1952. SJTU was among the first few Chinese Universities in setting up the discipline of Materials Science and Engineering. The MSE program at SJTU has been consistently ranked in the top 1‰ of the ESI, and its ranking reached the 20th globally and the 4th domestically in the latest QS World University Rankings in Material Science (2021). SJTU-SMSE strives to recruit top talents who wish to be a part of the team in building world-class platform to solve both scientific challenges and engineering problems that are critical to the sustainable development of the society. We are pleased to announce the official start of the 2021 spring term recruitment process and would like to encourage all qualified individuals to apply for the openings.

在世界一流大学、一流学科或科研机构获得博士学位的优秀毕业生
Graduated with PhD from a world-class university or scientific research institution
具有相关领域助理教授、博士后等科研工作经历
Had experience as an assistant professor or a post-doctor in related fields.
已取得一些学术研究成果，具有较好的学术发展潜力
Good scientific achievements with high potential in academic research
具备主讲课程和指导研究生的能力
Ability to teach graduate courses and guide graduate students
专职科研人员
Research Scientist
年龄一般不超过35周岁

已获得材料科学与工程学科或相关学科博士学位的优秀毕业生
Graduated with PhD in MSE or related field
具备较强的科研工作能力，学术态度严谨，具有较好的钻研精神和创新意识
Demonstrate strong capability in scientific research, and also the rigor, determination, and innovation in research
具有良好的团队合作精神
Demonstrate the spirit in collaboration and teamwork
