1．vt.建议/提议
①suggest sth. (to sb.)
(向某人)建议某事
eg:I'll suggest a new plan (to him).
 
注意:不能说suggest sb. sth. 
eg:We suggest him a new plan. (Χ)
 
②suggest doing sth.
建议做某事
eg:He suggested going to the park.
 
注意：suggest 不可以加不定式
He suggested to go to the park.(Χ)
 
③suggest sb./one's doing sth.
建议某人做某事
eg:You should suggest him/his give up smoking.
 
④suggest +that从句
(从句用虚拟语气:should+动词原形，should可省略。)
eg:He suggested (that) she (should) go to the doctor at once.
 
2.vt.暗示/表明
suggest+that从句(从句用陈述语气。)
eg:Her tears suggested (that) she was unhappy.
